Nike Air Max 1 'Keep Rippin Stop Slippin 2.0'

This Air Max 1 is finally returning after a 15-year hiatus. The Air Max 1 "Keep Rippin Stop Slippin" was first released in 2008, the same year as other modern classics like the Air Max 90 "King of the Mountain." Although a hybrid retro version of the "Greatest Hits" pack was released in 2018, the makeup was only applied on the Air Max 95 and not the corresponding shapes. Fortunately for us, this Air Max 1 retro—which is modeled after the 1987 Air Safari makeup—displays that lack of consistency. The distinctive Safari color scheme, which is slated to return to stores in 2023, is just as striking as it did in 2008.
