Combining the Air Max Plus (introduced in 1998) with VaporMax series, Nike created the VaporMax Plus Triple Black. Neoprene makes up the upper of the Nike VaporMax Plus Triple Black, keeping it faithful to the classic design of the Nike Air Max Plus. The Air Max sole runs the full length of the sneaker. The Air Vapor Max Plus branding is seen on the tongue, while the VM logo is located on the heel. The yellow, white, and red hues of the VM logo create contrast. The heel reminds me of the 1998 Tuned Air Logo. The Nike VaporMax's upper portion is finished off with short white stripes.
