Inspired by the sneaker that Kobe Bryant wore during the 2010 NBA Finals—which saw the Mamba win his fifth and final championship with the Lakers—the Nike Kobe 5 Protro 'Big Stage' receives its name. The "home" and "away" versions of the "Big Stage" Kobe 5 are combined in the design with visual cues from the "Parade" PE that cover the medial side of the right shoe and the lateral side of the left shoe. The logo hits and heel of the sneaker have striking bursts of glittering gold.
